Article 5 issued!! May 18, 2012

We just received word from our agency that our Article 5 letter was issued by the US Consulate in Guangzhou today. In plain English this means that our government has officially notifed the CCCWA in Beijing that we have met all requirements from our government to adopt Isabella and that they have approved the issuance of a US Visa for Isabella's return to the US  when our adoption is finalized in China. The only steps remaining are travel approval from China and confirmation of our Consulate dates at the US Embassy in Guangzhou-and we'll be on a plane to China!. Things have to go smoothly, but we still have outside hope for a June travel date!
